In October 2025, construction commenced on the Playford Commercial Hub, a high-quality eight storey commercial development located next to the Windsor Carpark along Main North Road, Elizabeth.

Delivered and privately funded by leading Australian developer Pelligra Group, the project signals strong confidence in Elizabeth as the economic heart of northern Adelaide. With sustainability at its core, the Playford Commercial Hub will bring together businesses and organisations that support key regional industries in one purpose-built destination.

Council’s Role

Council’s investment in key sites and enabling infrastructure, such as the Windsor Carpark, has helped make the Hub possible.

Pelligra has entered a commercial arrangement for use of approximately 75% of the carpark, highlighting its ongoing value as part of the CBD’s next stage.

To help address one of the region’s biggest challenges – access to quality business space – Council has taken a step to provide opportunity for local businesses and organisations in key sectors to access purpose-built spaces across two floors of the Hub.

Together, these steps are helping to bring new activity, jobs and services into the Elizabeth CBD.
