Roadworks and closures
Updates on Council-managed road impacts are posted here weekly
Renewal works will be underway on the Stebonheath Park Boardwalk.
Works will be underway from 24 November 2025 to 27 February 2026 (weather permitting).
Contractor will work to minimise any impacts to Saturday Park Run events.
A temporary road closure will be in place on Fradd Road, Angle Vale, from Peony Road to the eastern end of Fradd Road. The closure will be in place between January 2026 to 16 April 2026. (subject to weather)
Works will construct a new watermain and pavement for the Hillsview Green Development. These works are being carried out by Winslow Constructors. There is signage in place providing both residents and road users advance notification of the road works.

Works commenced on Friday 28 February 2025 and will continue through until end of February 2026 (subject to weather).
Major road work and road closures are occurring on Frisby Road between Curtis Road and Fradd Road, Angle Vale.
Works will include rebuilding Frisby Road, new road pavement, footpaths, kerbing, lighting, signage, roundabout, channelised junction, drainage, new underground services and service crossings.
Speed restrictions will be in place and Diverse Civil and Commercial will control all traffic. Out of hours traffic control measures will also be in place.

Frisby Rd Angle Vale ROAD CLOSURE 6 Jan to 9 Jan Diverse Civil UPDATED 1
A section of Harris Road, Angle Vale, will be closed from Monday, 19 January until Tuesday, 20 February between 7am and 5pm (subject to weather). No detour will be in place during the works but traffic control will be onsite to direct local traffic.
A section of the road will be closed for essential works on sewer, water and road re-construction, including new kerbing, parking bays and AC pavements.
The work will be carried out by Neo Infrastructure. Please note that Council has not been provided with a traffic guidance scheme at this stage and were not provided a date or timing of the works.
Council expects the road closure will be in place between the above dates. A full road closure is required for safety reasons as large mobile plants will be required for the service trenching within Harris Road.

From 29 October until 28 February 2026, work will be occurring on Oldham Road at Elizabeth South.
The work is contained to a small area adjacent to Lot 4711 Oldham Road. The footpath in this area will be closed with speed reductions in place for traffic.
