Roadworks and closures
Updates on Council-managed road impacts are posted here weekly
A temporary road closure will be in place on Fradd Road, Angle Vale, from Peony Road to the eastern end of Fradd Road. The closure will be in place between January 2026 to 16 April 2026. (subject to weather)
Works will construct a new watermain and pavement for the Hillsview Green Development. These works are being carried out by Winslow Constructors. There is signage in place providing both residents and road users advance notification of the road works.

Following major roadworks on Frisby Road speed restrictions will remain in place and Diverse Civil and Commercial will control all traffic. Out of hours traffic control measures will also be in place.

Please be advised that a temporary road closure will be in effect on Pescara Road from Nylon Court to Sicily Street. The closure will be in place between 25 March 2026 to 17 April 2026 to allow contractors to construct a new sewer main. These works are being carried out by BMD. There is signage in place providing both residents and road users advance notification of the road works.

- When is it? Period commencing 25 March 2026 to 17 April 2026, approximate times, subject to weather.
- Who are doing it? BMD.
- Why are they doing it? To construct a new Sewer.

Works will commence 30 March 2026 to 13 April 2026 (weather permitting).

Footpath renewal works will be underway on Yorktown Road, Elizabeth Park (from Adams road to Midway Road, south side of road).
Works will commence 07 January 2026 to mid-April 2026 (weather permitting).

Road closure will be underway between Mofflin Road and Oldham Road, Elizabeth Vale.
Works will commence 23 February 2026 to 09 February 2027 (weather permitting).

Upgrade works will be underway at the intersection of Stebonheath Road and Dalkeith Road, Kudla.
Works will commence week of 19 January 2026 to mid-April 2026 (weather permitting).

Stormwater upgrade works will be underway along Kent Road, McDonald Park.
Works will commence week of 24 March 2026 and are expected to take two weeks (weather permitting)
During this time Kent Road will be closed to through traffic, with the exception of residents in Kent Road only and detours will be in place.

Electrical conduit/cable works will be underway on Curtis Road, Munno Para - near the wetlands.
Works will commence week of 16 February 2026 to 03 April 2026 (weather permitting).

Footpath closures will be in place from 15 December 2025 to 5 July 2026 on sections of Riverlea Boulevard, Central Drive and Guilding Terrace, Riverlea Park, as part of scheduled works.

Road closures and go-slow traffic conditions will be in place from 15 December 2025 to 25 May 2026 on portions of Reedy Road and Riverlea Boulevard, Riverlea Park as part of scheduled works.

Stage 3 of the Sheedy Road renewal works will be underway between O'Loughlin Road & Old Pt Wakefield Road, Virginia.
Works will commence 30 March 2026 to July 2026 (weather permitting).
Traffic control signs and speed restrictions will be in place to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorist.
Stage 2 works at the intersection of Coratina Road & Sheedy Road will be open to through traffic from 30th March 2026.
