Development Forms and Permits
To ensure you are complying with the relevant state, federal or local by-laws, City of Playford may ask you from time to time to complete a form. This page hosts a variety of forms in both online and downloadable hard-copy format for a range of applications.
Community Land Management Plans
Community land is defined as land (other than roads) owned by Council or under Council's care, control and management. Freehold-titled land owned by Council is not included in the definition and therefore exempt from the provisions of the Local Government Act 1999.
Development Plans are key documents in the South Australian planning and development system, which contain the zones, maps and written rules which guide property owners and others as to what can and cannot be done on any piece of land covered by the plan.
Subdividing a block of land can be a complex process. City of Playford aims to make your land subdivision easier, with resources, fact sheets and links to third-party sites, such as SA Water and SA Power Networks.
Playford has a number of engineering standards covering a range of assets. The use of standard drawings ensures a consistent approach to the creation of Council assets by developers, builders and contractors, so they all meet the same high standard for quality, finish, size and specification.
