The Playford Wellbeing Hub delivers a range of programs and services to support community physical, social and mental health and wellbeing. As part of the Wellbeing Hub, the JMC offers a range of court sports.

Just Kicks Taekwondo Development Centre
Age is no barrier at Just Kicks Taekwondo: we have a class that suits girls and boys of all ages from beginner levels to elite athletes. Whether you want to get fit, improve self confidence or compete, Just Kicks can help you achieve your goals the fun and affordable way.
Classes at John McVeity Centre
Grasshoppers
Ages: 4-7 years
When: Monday and Wednesdays during school term 5:15pm-5:55pm
Juniors
Ages: 8-14 years
When: Monday and Wednesdays during school term 6:05pm-7:05pm
Seniors
Ages: 15 years +
When: Monday and Wednesdays during school term 7:15pm-8:15pm
We offer:
- Internationally Qualified Instructors; classes 6 days per week;
- Separate Kids, Junior and Senior Classes;
- Traditional Martial Arts and Self Defence classes;
- Olympic Sport Taekwondo classes;
- Professional full time training centre with training mats, mirrors, clean toilet facilities, and so much more!

Volleyball
At the John McVeity Centre we have state of the art Volleyball equipment for hire suitable for clubs, schools, competitions and trainings.
Volleyball bookings must be a minimum of 2 hours. Above is a table breakdown of court rates per category. Click to expand.

Badminton
At the John McVeity Centre we have Badminton equipment for hire suitable for clubs, schools, and trainings.
Badminton Court Hire must be booked in advance, following the standard booking procedure. The following exceptions are in place for Badminton Court Hire;
- Badminton bookings must be a minimum of 1 hour.
- Badminton bookings can only be made up to 7 days in advance, during standard operating hours or casual court access times.
- Phone bookings can be made 90 minutes before if space permits.
- Note - Badminton Court Hire does not give exclusive access to the whole court space.
- Note - Racquets and shuttles can be borrowed at no additional cost.

Gymnastics
Queenstown Gymnastics Club SA
Queenstown Gymnastics Club is excited to announce that we are expanding to include Trampoline Gymnastics classes at the JMC!
Classes will be run at the John McVeity Centre in Smithfield Plains starting in the April school holidays.
