Comprising of a Mayor and fifteen Councillors, City of Playford's Council Members meet for Ordinary Council meetings monthly, in addition to a variety of regular committees, panels and informal gatherings.

The City of Playford is divided into five wards, with a Mayor and 15 Councillors. Each ward is represented by three Councillors.

Council is required to publish certain registers as required under legislation. As part of attending training and conferences, Council Members may also provide reports from events which they attend.

The City of Playford is home to diverse and growing community. Seven new residents call Playford home everyday, and will continue to do so for the next 20 years.
