Mental Health

Mental Health Services

Council endeavours to work across the community to provide services and support to individuals, carers, families, friends and other residents with concerns about mental health. To learn more about the way City of Playford assists, contact us on 8256 0333.

Northern Mental Health Service Providers Network

The Northern Mental Health Service Providers Network is a great way for providers to attend, discuss and share information about mental health. They meet on a quarterly basis to share information and resources to improve service outcomes for people with a mental illness; they are open to any interested mental health service providers in the northern region.

Suicide Prevention Support

The Playford Suicide Prevention Network is a voluntary community group working to reduce the stigma associated with suicide and to increase community knowledge about where to get help when in need.

This includes support services for people bereaved by suicide; the group aims to reduce the impact of suicide in Playford by educating the community and empowering others to seek help and give hope.

For more information, contact City of Playford (8256 0107 or playford@playford.sa.gov.au).
