The City of Playford Transport Strategy 2025 sets the direction for how Council will plan, deliver and invest in our transport network over the next decade.

Our Transport Strategy sets out how Council will focus its efforts — upgrading local roads, footpaths and crossings, advocating for the right State and Federal investment, and working with partners to ensure the network grows with our community and supports access to jobs, services and daily life.

Council is not the only level of government involved in transport. The State and Federal Governments also play key roles — the State leads major road upgrades and public transport planning, while the Federal Government funds large-scale infrastructure projects across the nation. Working together is essential to ensure transport investment keeps pace with growth and supports the needs of a fast-growing city like Playford.
