Playford is in full Fringe mode! Catch must-see shows at The Shedley Theatre, including iconic Aussie comedian Dave Hughes, then step straight into the buzz with lively entertainment in Prince George Plaza. Free and open for all.

Also in the Elizabeth CBD precinct, each week, you can experience two new live shows in Northern Sound System and under the lights at the Launch Pad skatepark, with a diverse line up of recording artists making soundwaves.

For one night only, Prince George Plaza will come alive with a taste of the Fringe with our delicious food trucks and curious spectacles, located opposite the Target entrance of Elizabeth Shopping Centre and next to Fasta Pasta.

Enjoy our open-air stage in the plaza with roving performers, fire performers, bubble artists and so much more.

Dave Hughes brings his new show Cooked to Playford for one hilarious night only, packed with his trademark brutally honest take on everyday life.

Also on stage, Heathers: The Musical delivers sharp wit, big songs and darkly comic drama, while Leonard Cohen: His Life, Ladies and Lovers sees Jonathan Anstock bring the legendary songwriter vividly to life.

Local favourite Delicia Eats rounds out the program with a family-friendly Variety Spectacular at The Shedley Theatre.

Northern Sounds 2026 with our powerhouse Northern Sounds System (NSS) is amping up new live gigs from a diverse range of genres every Friday night.

Featuring emerging and much-loved artists on the local scene, these performances take place with free shows held outdoors from 7:00pm to 8:30pm under the lights at the Launch Pad skatepark and ticketed events indoors on the NSS main stage.

The first Northern Sounds 2026 show kicks off on Friday 20 February, so grab your friends and see inspired, bold and energetic storytelling and live performances with true heart.
