Graffiti Removal from Council Property
The City of Playford is only responsible for graffiti removal from Council-owned assets and can be reported online or to our Customer Contact Team on 8256 0333.
Examples of Council-owned assets may include:
- Bus shelters without advertisement panels – removal on those with advertisements are the responsibility of AdShel
- Council signage including most road signs – removal on major arterial roads are the responsibility of Transport SA
- Council buildings
- Fences within Council reserves and laneways
Time frame for removal
The City of Playford will remove graffiti from Council property within five working days.
Offensive and hate-based graffiti will be removed from Council property within two working days.
Weather plays a significant role in the removal of graffiti; extreme heat, windy or wet conditions may delay graffiti removal.
Graffiti Removal from Residential Property
Private fences facing footpaths are the responsibility of the resident or business owner.
