Multicultural Programs for Older People
As a Council, we run a variety of multicultural programs for older residents which provide opportunities to access services, and allows them to participate in activities that bring people from similar cultural backgrounds together. These programs include activities for Italian, Greek, Spanish and Filipino people, as well as fitness and dancing programs, English as a Second Language (ESL) and social outings within the Playford community.

Gaining an Australia Citizenship is a very special event in a persons life, where they take a pledge of allegiance to Australia and become a citizen.
The Australian Citizenship Ceremony is a formal occasion which takes approximately one to two hours. Members of Parliament, Council elected members, special guests and entertainers are invited to attend, with light refreshments being served after the ceremony.
