More updates and information are on the way, but this is what we have to share with you now ...

• Our Australia Day event is hosted by “South Aussie with Cosi” star, Andrew ‘Cosi' Costello and features live performances on the Fremont Park stage.
• A flag raising ceremony with Mayor Glenn Docherty will mark the commencement of the morning.
• The morning will also offer free activities for all ages, including carnival rides and face painting.
• A highlight of the event will be the announcement of the 2026 Playford Citizen of the Year Awards.

The Eastern end of Fremont Park, including the Yorktown Road car park and the dog park, will be closed from Saturday to Monday (24–26 January) for the Australia Day event, including event setup and pack down. We thank the community for their understanding while these temporary closures are in place.
