What's happening on the day?
More updates and information are on the way, but this is what we have to share with you now ...
- Our Australia Day event is hosted by “South Aussie with Cosi” star, Andrew ‘Cosi' Costello and features live performances on the Fremont Park stage.
- A flag raising ceremony with Mayor Glenn Docherty will mark the commencement of the morning.
- The morning will also offer free activities for all ages, including carnival rides and face painting.
- A highlight of the event will be the announcement of the 2026 Playford Citizen of the Year Awards.
Carpark at Fremont Dog Park
The Carpark at Fremont Dog Park, on Yorktown Road, will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday (24 to 26 January) for our Australia Day event, including setup and pack down. The dog park stays open with off-street parking available.
