The John McVeity Centre (JMC) in Smithfield Plains is a City of Playford-owned facility and is a key site for the Child & Family Wellbeing Team. It is a place that many people rely on to support their health and wellbeing and provides opportunities for people to come together and connect socially.

JMC offers indoor facilities and programs, which include social sports competitions for futsal, netball and basketball.
