Uni Hub Playford FAQ

1. What is Uni Hub Playford?
Uni Hub Playford is a dedicated study hub for university students living in the City of Playford. Located on the TAFE SA campus, it provides modern study spaces, internet access, computers, and a welcoming environment to help you succeed. While it shares a location with TAFE, it is a separate initiative designed for university-level study.

2. Who can use Uni Hub Playford?
Uni Hub Playford is open to all university students to become free members, whether studying full-time, part-time, online, or externally. TAFE students can continue to access TAFE SA services. Those who become Uni Hub Playford members may also use the space under its conditions of use. Facilities are not available for TAFE staff.

3. What facilities are available?
Students have access to quiet study spaces, meeting rooms, high-speed internet, and computers. You’ll also be able to take part in workshops and connect with programs that support student success, all within a safe and inclusive environment.

4. When will the hub open?
November 2025.

5. Does the Uni Hub deliver courses?
No. Uni Hub Playford does not deliver university or TAFE courses. It provides study spaces and support for university students. TAFE enrolments and programs are managed separately through TAFE SA.

6. How do I register?
Students can become members online through the Uni Hub website or by visiting the hub in person.

7. Does the space belong to TAFE SA or Uni Hub Playford?

Uni Hub Playford is leasing the space from TAFE SA. Uni Hub Playford is managing the fit out of the space. Uni Hub Playford is operated by the City of Playford, in conjunction with partners including The University of Adelaide, Flinders University, the University of South Australia, TAFE SA, and the Northern Adelaide State Secondary Schools’ Alliance (NASSSA), with funding from the Federal Government's Suburban University Study Hubs Program.
