Families across the City of Playford are invited to enjoy a free evening of entertainment as the John McVeity Centre (JMC) hosts its Family Movie Night on Saturday 21 June.

The community is encouraged to come along, get comfy and settle in for a screening of the action-packed animated film, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (PG) — a thrilling adventure the whole family will enjoy.

Mayor Glenn Docherty said it was fantastic to welcome families back to the John McVeity Centre for another free movie night.

“These events are all about creating a fun and relaxed environment where the community can come together and enjoy time with loved ones,” said the Mayor.

“We know how important it is to have affordable, family-friendly activities in our community. That’s why we’re proud to offer these events free of charge, with plenty of room for everyone to come and enjoy.”

“Whether you’re a regular at JMC or it’s your first time visiting, this is a great opportunity to experience what the centre has to offer and feel part of your local community.”

The JMC Café will be open with drinks and snacks available for purchase. Guests are also welcome to bring their own movie treats.
