2020 has been a challenging year for us all.
The City of Playford’s free ‘Start the conversation, a mental health and wellbeing forum’ encourages you to be open and honest about how you are feeling, and when to seek support.
We want to provide you with the tools to start a conversation when you’re not ok, or with someone who you suspect may be struggling. Let’s build a supportive and resilient community together.
The forum will provide you with tools to increase your resilience, key strategies to cope with stress and anxiety and connect you with some of the support services available in the City of Playford.
The City of Playford’s Mayor Glenn Docherty will open the forum, and welcome master of ceremonies and key speaker Nathan Bolton, member of the SA Premier's Council on Suicide Prevention. Nathan will be joined by two key speakers who are passionate about creating good mental health for all – Anthony Hart and Khadija Gbla.
