Youth Development

We provide various programs in the Playford area, most of which are free of charge, and are scheduled to work around school and study commitments. Some programs are listed below, but if you'd like to learn about more, download a brochure featuring all of our programs.

Youth Action Crew: A group sharing views and developing solutions to issues affecting Playford’s young people.

Mob Mondays: Come explore culture, dance, art, song, language and more each week with special guests. Mondays from 4pm to 6pm at Northern Sound System.

Pokemon Play and Learn: Join Table Top Warfare to trade, battle and learn to play Pokemon Trading Card Game. Every Tuesday during the school term at the Playford Civic Centre Library from 3.30pm to 5pm.

Drama Club: Unleash your creativity, sharpen your power of expression and become the star storyteller on every Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm at Northern Sound System.

Wednesday Youth: Hosted by HopeStreet SA, Wednesday Youth is a safe space for young people to hang out with food, gaming and more at Northern Sound System from 3pm to 4.30pm.

Skatelight: Hosted by HopeStreet SA with the support of Playford Alive, Skatelight is a hang out at Munno Para Skate Park on Fridays between 3pm and 5pm.

Choir: The NSS Choir meets every Tuesday during the school term from 4.30-5.30pm at Northern Sound System. The ages are 10-25 years. Beginners are welcomed. Feel free to come in and try us out!

Wheels in Motion: 
This program helps build hours for learner drivers.
