Public notices provide updates to residents that may impact their everyday life.

Traffic restrictions - Curtis Road between Heaslip Road and Broadacres Drive - April and May 2024

Traffic Restrictions will be in effect on Curtis Road between Heaslip Road and Broadacres Drive from Thursday 18 April 2024 with an expected completion date of Saturday 25 May 2024. The contractor will be maintaining traffic control during the day and have out of hours control in place all other times. Speed restrictions will be in effect. Road works - Warooka Drive, Smithfield - April 2024

This construction for footpath renewal will be undertaken as nightworks from 6pm to 5am, start 14 April ends 26 April.

During these times, the road which runs between Morialta Drive and Aldi will be closed for construction. A detour will be placed, directing traffic down Morialta Drive and Wahroonga Drive. VMS boards will be onsite from Monday 8 April.

Road works - Jamieson Road, Uley Road and Park Lake Blvd Blakeview - April 2024

Road works will affect the above roadways while we construct new pram ramps and pedestrian refuges to improve accessibility in the area.

Works will start as follows:

Jamieson Road, Blakeview
Start date - 12 April 2024 duration of 2 weeks during school holidays.

Uley Road, Blakeview
Start date -15 April 2024 and will be completed by 26 April 2024

Park Lake Blvd, Blakeview
Start date – Start 15 April 2024 and will be completed by 26 April 2024

All traffic changes will be signed, including speed changes.

Night works - Kinkaid Road, Elizabeth East - April 2024

Fulton Hogan are undertaking works from 2 April 2024 to 24 April 2024 with traffic restrictions and detours in place. Electronic signs will provide notice of works and detours will be signed.

The works may impact bus routes and more information will be provided when available to help people plan their travel.

Traffic restrictions - Stebonheath Road between Hatcher Road and Dalkeith Road, Munno Para - April 2024

A temporary road closure and detour will be in effect on Stebonheath Road between Hatcher Road (location of new roundabout) and Dalkeith Road, Munno Para West until the end of April.

CME Civil is conducting the works on behalf of the developer to install a sewer main that services the nearby development.

Road closure - Frisby Road between Curtis and Fradd Roads, Angle Vale - April 2024

A temporary road closure/detour will be in effect on FRISBY ROAD between Curtis Road and Fradd Road (opposite Bunnings), Angle Vale.

The detour will be in effect between the hours 7pm to 7am and will be in place for approximately 3 weeks from Wednesday 3 April to Saturday 27 April 2024.

Curtis Road, at the intersection of Frisby Road, will also be reduced to single lane movements at times to allow for water connections to cross to the new Frisby Road water main.

The work is being conducted by Bennett Civil & Plumbing to install essential water mains to service the 23 North Development.

Road closure - Andrews Road between Magazine Place and Hutton Avenue - May 2024

Andrews Road between Magazine Place and Hutton Avenue at Andrews Farm will be closed from Wednesday 01 May until Saturday 25 May 2024.

Detours will be in place during this period,

The road will be closed to facilitate the construction of a second entrance to the Brookmont development. The work is being completed by Tripodi Group on behalf of the developer and includes pavement, kerbing reconstruction, stormwater drainage upgrade, new sewer and water main connections.

Windsor Carpark works

The public are advised that the Windsor Carpark in the Elizabeth CBD will be closed for casual parking from 15 January to April 2024, whilst maintenance works are undertaken to the western façade.

Parking for customers with permanently leased spaces on the ground floor will still be available during this time.

Council urges members of the public to abide by any traffic and access restrictions in place during the works and to exercise caution in the area.
