TECHNOLOGY BASICS 4 WEEK COURSE

Time: 1-2:30pm

Cost: FREE

Where: Civic Centre Library, IT Suite

WEEK 1: Device Basics
Learn the basics of computers or how to use your phone/ tablet in this group session that takes you through the process in a relaxed and interactive way.

WEEK 2: Internet and Safety

Learn how to navigate the internet and connect to Wi-Fi.

WEEK 3: Email and SMS

Learn the basics of emailing and SMS (texting).

WEEK 4: Online Safety and Scams

Learn the basics of computing with this special session on online safety and scams.

If you are attending with your phone or tablet please ensure you have charged your device fully before attending.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to COVID-19 restrictions bookings are required to attend all our events in the library service.

The restriction guidelines include:

- Bookings are required.

- One ticket equals one person attending.

- Hand sanitiser will be provided upon entry to the session.

- A 1.5m social distancing is advised between attendees of the event.

- If you are booked into the session and are feeling unwell or have cold/flu symptoms please contact the library to cancel/ re-schedule your booking (Ph: 8256 0333).
