Author Angelica A Brewer will be visiting the Playford Library with the release of her motivational survivors memoir, Seventy Thousand Camels.

Seventy Thousand Camels, A Motivational Survivor's Memoir is about a woman's life navigating the impactful effects of narcissistic abuse, first by her primary caregiver, her obsessive Operatic Soprano mother, and later in life through various romantic and interpersonal relationships, and, in the workforce.

Angelica's detailed recount of vicissitudes from her birth in Rome 1965, and migration to Australia in 1975, reads like an encyclopedia of extraordinary and sometimes incredible circumstances which by the end of the book beg the question; "how did this woman survive and still find it in her heart to care for others?"

This book will appeal to a wide audience. The themes are varied and include prison stories, migration, travel, eating disorder, survival of emotional, corporal, and psychological abuse, and spirituality.

Please be advised this session is 18+ years due to the mature content of the author talk.
