Salisbury West back on top of the Para Districts Cricket Association ladder after Virginia lose to Parafield Gardens.

Virginia’s stay at the top of the Para Districts Cricket Association grade one ladder was short lived, with Parafield Gardens recording a five-wicket win on Saturday.

The Rams set the Gardens 149 for victory in the limited overs contest, which Gardens overhauled in 37 overs.

Craig Thomas (4/26) and Nick Kershaw (64*) were the lead performers for Gardens.

One Tree Hill won its first game since prior to Christmas, defeating ATCO by six wickets.

ATCO batted first, with Mick Corfield making 90 of his team’s 142 runs, which was made in 29.5 overs.

Corfield was dismissed with the score on 100, one of three wickets lost on that total.

Jarrod Hanisch took 4/16, while Anthony Klitogiannis finished with 3/63 from eight overs.

Adam Smith (43) top-scored for the Billiegoats as they passed the score in 30 overs.

Craigmore had a comfortable nine-wicket win after Central United, batting first, was dismissed for just 99.

Trent Payne took 3/14, while Travis Gebauer (38) top-scored in the run chase.

Salisbury West continued Angle Vale’s run of losses with a 28-run win at home. Other highlights:

Salisbury West dismissed Central United for just 66 in grade two;

Enfield United amassed 6/253 against North Pines in grade three, with Michael Feltus making 73;

Smithfield’s Schael Wall took 5/24 as Craigmore was dismissed for 95, while Rose & Crown (76) and One Tree Hill (60) also failed to reach triple figures in grade three;

Grade 4 saw ATCO dismissed for 61 (K. Schugmann 4/8) and R Creek took 8/26 as Salisbury West defeated Rose & Crown (D. Chaffey 86).
