Chasing the Billiegoats’ 192, Westies made light work of the target, passing it with just five wickets down.

Justin Davies (88) and Willi Sewell (79) did most of the damage.

The loss dropped One Tree Hill to third.

Virginia had a comfortable 58-run win over Craigmore and Angle Vale made 7/282 in pursuit of ATCO’s 155.

Starting the day at 0/20, Central United made only 127 in pursuit of Parafield Gardens’ 206. Rhys Kosonen top-scored for Units with 35.

In grade two, Two Wells narrowly missed out on outright points against Central United, which was rolled for 85 (C. Wegener 36) in its first dig and then made 8/105 in the second. Lachlan Goss took 7/35 for the day.

In grade three, Smithfield added yet another outright win to its burgeoning collection.

Starting its second innings 35-runs ahead, Smiffies declared at 9/153, with Luke Dunn making 50.

Needing 188 to win, Parafield Gardens made 116, with Aaron Lord adding 3/37 to his four first-innings wickets.

Chasing One Tree Hill’s 7/236, North Pines (L. Woods 62, D. Bottams 54) did it easy, making 323 and passing the score with seven wickets down.

Craigmore (234) had an outright win over Rose & Crown (86 and 126).

Travis Cooper took 4/4 and 3/19.

Grade four saw ATCO defend its 204 against Salisbury West, which made 7/196.

Brendan Laakso took 4/28.

Angle Vale was on the end of a smashing by Riverside, dismissed for just 76 with the score passed only two wickets down.

In grade seven, Central United’s (5/222) Parimal Shrimali (97) and Les Kosonen (5/19) were the stars as their team defeated ATCO (103).
