One Tree Hill is a beautiful little town on the fringe of the Adelaide Hills but, tomorrow, it’s going to be filled to the brim with cycling enthusiasts from across Australia and the world as Stage One of the Tour Down Under passes through. Unley > Lyndoch

The 145 kilometre stage starts at Unley at 10:30am and is expected to finish at Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley at 2:27pm.

It enters Playford at about 11:21am traveling up Black Top Road and through Hillbank to One Tree Hill.

In Playford

The riders first enter Playford territory near the Old Spot Hotel on the Main North Road at around 11:21am.

They are expected to reach One Tree Hill at around 11:35am.

After passing through One Tree Hill, the riders will head towards Kersbrook.

Party town

From 10:30am to 2pm, One Tree Hill will be a hive of activity with the Country Market operating.

There will be Russian piroshkis, a barbecue and lots of stalls to delight your tastebuds and those bargain seekers among us.

With the temperature rising, there will also be plenty of refreshing drinks on offer. Sounds good

Entertainment will also add to the party mood at One Tree Hill, with Zali Ricketts and Leah Holland set to perform at the markets.Road restrictions

Because roads will be restricted when the riders pass through ensure you arrive early and browse the fabulous stalls both inside and outside of the One Tree Hill Institute at 1009 Black Top Road.
