Elon Musk’s social media-driven jump into the South Australian energy debate has put the spotlight on a Playford-based renewable energy initiative – one that can help you reduce your business’ power costs.

Located at Elizabeth Vale, Fluid Solar House is an office building that has been built to take advantage of renewable energy and was profiled on Network Seven’s current affairs program Today Tonight last Tuesday.

Fluid Solar’s Roger Davies appeared on the program, discussing the innovative energy solutions in use at the office building, as well in a new project he is developing at Munno Para – an energy efficient apartment building.

“I thought to myself if I could use my technology, which keeps building cool in summer and warm in winter, if I could use that to build residential homes that were much cheaper to live in, that would hugely benefit people on low and fixed incomes,” Mr Davies told Today Tonight.

City of Playford Mayor Glenn Docherty also featured in the program.

“We’ve got ingenious businesses that are working hard to create their own solutions to the energy crisis,” Mayor Docherty said. Business benefits

Local business can also benefit from the renewable energy expertise available at Fluid Solar House.

A speed-networking event will be held later this month, providing information about energy solutions that can cut your business’ power bills.
