Club committee member David Martin congratulated his club on its achievements.
“The enjoyment and success of this season have been the result of hard work and a great team spirit by all,” Mr Martin said.“We are proud of our achievements and are now focused on a bright future.”Mr Martin said club members are looking forward to moving into the club’s innovative new home at Goodman Road, the largest undercover bowls facility in Australia.
Located next to the Central District Football Club, the new Playford Bowling Club will feature three synthetic greens and is expected provide opportunities to attract major competitions to our community.
The project is part of the City of Playford’s Sports Precinct plan, which covers 50 hectares and involves multiple sports within our community.
The Sports Precinct recognises the important role sport plays in creating a healthy, confident and happy lifestyle for our growing community.
“We are excited about building on this season’s successes when we move to the new undercover lawn-bowling facility and clubhouse,” Mr Martin said. ^ The Playford Bowling Club Division 3 North (Wednesday) pennant-winning team. More information about the Sports Precinct can be found HERE.
