School holidays are just around the corner - we have fun activities for children of all ages to get excited about!

School holidays time

We have a jam packed School Holiday Program to keep the kids busy this Spring.

Getting your stretch on with yoga at the Elizabeth Rise Community Centre to story time with a guide dog at the Playford Civic Centre library - there is something for everyone to enjoy.

There are also activities available online, so you can enjoy them from the comfort of your own home.

Unearthed High winners

Congratulations to Teenage Joans for taking out 's Unearthed High competition for 2020.

For those who don't know, the duo met through Northern Sound System (NSS) and started jamming together from there.

Cahli Baker (lead singer and guitarist) is a N1 Record artist along with drummer, Tahlia Borg, being very much part of the NSS family for a number of years.

Teenage Joans will now go on to record their next single in the triple j studios and receive professional industry advice and mentorship with some of their favourite artists.

This is a back to back for NSS Alumni with taking it out in 2019.

Look 'n Cook - on sale!

The second edition of our Look 'n Cook Book is now available for purchase!

The cookbook makes cooking possible for more people, with all recipes tested by Playford's social inclusion group - Playford Friends.

All sales of the cookbook will fund future community capacity building projects for the Playford Friends Group.

Growing for Gold - Final call for registrations

Registrations close on Sunday, 20 September for Growing for Gold.

Growing for Gold is a free program for young people aged 3-16 that provides an opportunity to have a go at new sport and recreational activities thanks to our local sporting clubs.

The program runs from Saturday, 26 September to Sunday, 25 October.

It's a great way for you to test out one of your local sporting clubs before your commit to joining for the season. Anyone who decides to join a club after participating in Growing for Gold will receive a $30 SportsPower voucher.
