Adam Ludewig is set to sing the house down at this year's Playford Community Carols. Read what he has been up to and what's store for the future...

It’s been a few years since Adam stunned audiences with his powerful performances on The Voice.

At the time he auditioned, he was a student at Playford International College, posting song covers on his socials and dreaming of a brighter future.

Since then, Adam has been working hard on his music and discovering new directions.

“Ever since leaving The Voice, I have been on a rollercoaster and I’ve written songs about a breakup and things like that, but what I really want to do is to make people feel better with my music. I want them to listen and feel good, not sad or anything like that, “he said.

His latest release, ‘Lost in My Way’ is a soulful note to himself and the importance of not giving in.

“I was finding myself losing control of what mattered, and this song is about how easily you can be consumed by negativity, and how important it is to stay focussed and positive”.

For Adam, Christmas is the time of year to celebrate love, life, and family.

“I just love Christmas. My family come to together from all around Adelaide and it is just filled with joy. We have lunch and play Elvis… yeah, it is always a great time of year,” he said.

Adam said this year is extra special because of his upcoming community carols performance.

“I can’t wait to be part of the joy and attraction and to showcase what we have in the north. We are living in such stressful times and so coming together to have fun and play music, is so important.

“Not only that, I also can’t wait to see the kids running around and having fun. I really think that is the best thing about Christmas,” he said.

Adam will be playing original songs as well as covers, some with a Christmas feel, at the event.

“I’m going to give the crowd a good mixture and there’s definitely a carol in there!” he said.

And what Adam has in store for the future might be brighter than a Christmas star.

“There’s something big coming soon, something special and it's what everyone's been waiting for…I am so excited about it and can’t wait to share it with my fans”, said Adam.
