The Playford Innovation Hub will add to the Elizabeth CBD skyline as an eight-storey building offering over 6,000m2 Net Lettable Area of premium office space, targeted at government, defence, future industries and technology industry occupiers as well as offering a café and landscaped outdoor plaza.
The venue will be one of the only A-grade and 5-star National Australian Built Environment Rating System rated buildings in the area, providing occupiers high quality facilities, amenity and ample parking in a well-designed building.
City of Playford Mayor Glenn Docherty said that Pelligra’s launch of their leasing campaign is a milestone reached for the large-scale development and is another step in realising Council’s vision for a thriving and revitalised CBD.
“It is pleasing to see Pelligra move forward to this stage in the project and Council looks forward to seeing commercial industry interest that may be unlocked from the leasing campaign,“ Mayor Docherty said.
“The name really says it all- the Playford Innovation Hub will provide a high-quality urban design space for businesses to be innovative and progress their vision and goals, which will have flow on effects for Playford including job opportunities close to home.”
Initial planning consent for the application was issued in June 2023 by the Council Assessment Panel. Since that time, Pelligra has been working to refine the design of the proposal, as well as the working toward obtaining building rules consent and development approval.
City of Playford continues to work with a range of private developers to unlock key strategic sites to help Council realise its vision for the Elizabeth CBD.
