It’s a great spot for kids to play, particularly on game days, at one of the busiest public reserves in Playford.
The City of Playford’s Mayor Glenn Docherty said Council was “excited to be providing a fantastic new playground for Angle Vale’s fast growing community”.
“The playground caters to a number of children’s age groups,” Mayor Docherty said.
“It’s located next to Angle Vale Community Sports Club, which is perfect for mums and dads who play sport nearby.
“We were also proud to partner with the Lions Club on this project and they kindly donated a shelter for the site.”
The playground features a large slide, plenty of swings and some great climbing points.
While there is also a barbecue and shelter area that was installed with the Angle Vale Lions Club’s support.
The State Government contributed $125,000 towards the project, while the Lions donated around $15,000 for the shelter.
