With the potential rise in doctor’s fees and the freeze on the Medicare rebate until 2020, there is a risk bulk-billing doctors will charge for their services from mid-November 2016.

If you are looking to avoid this cost, you and your little one may be eligible to receive FREE vaccinations if you meet criteria in SA’s National Immunisation Schedule, or seek vaccinations via City of Playford's Immunisation Service for a competitive price.

More information is available below and please do not hesitate to contact one of our freindly nurses should you have any questions (details below).

Why is immunisation important?

Immunisation is a simple, safe and effective way of protecting people against harmful diseases that can cause serious health problems in the community.

The more people who are vaccinated, the fewer opportunities a disease has to spread.

What vaccinations do Council provide?

We provide routine childhood vaccinations against diseases that were once widely fatal, such as measles, diphtheria and whooping cough (pertussis), as well as more recently developed vaccines, such as Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and the meningococcal C vaccine.

The FLU VACCINATION is also now available at our public clinics.

As per the National Immunisation Programs SA Schedule, free vaccinations are also available.

For more information, please touch base with our Immunisation Team (details at the bottom of this page)

How much does each vaccination cost?

Vaccines by age group are fully funded within the National Immunisation Program Schedule.

However, costs do apply if you fall outside the schedule: Vaccine Price List.
