All Council locations, including our libraries, Playford Civic Centre and community centres, will be closed from 5pm Friday 22 December 2023 and reopening on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Please see opening times for different services, however all customer contact centres will reopen from 9am.

GP Plus Elizabeth Immunisation Clinic will be closed on 25 December 2023 and 1 January 2024.
This clinic will return to normal clinic hours as of 8 January 2024

John McVeity Centre Immunisation Clinic will be closed on 21 and 28 December 2023
This clinic will return to normal clinic hours as of 4 January 2024

Our Healthy Food Co. stores in Smithfield Plains and Elizabeth Downs will close for the festive season from 3:30pm on Wednesday 20 December and re-open on Monday 8 January 2024.

Online orders will be unavailable from Monday 18 December and resume from Monday 8 January.

Resource Recovery Centres (RRCs)

NAWMA’s centres at Pooraka and Edinburgh North will be open as per normal except for the following:

• Friday 22 December - closed from 1pm
• Monday 25 December - closed
• Monday 1 January 2024 - closed

NAWMA Administration

NAWMA’s administration will be closed from 1pm Friday 22 December 2023 until 8.30am Tuesday 2 January 2024.
All regular online services can still be booked during this time.

Web enquiries and emails will be monitored with only urgent enquiries actioned.

Bin Collections

There will be no bin collections on Monday 25 December (Christmas Day) or Monday 1 January 2024 (New Year’s Day).
From Monday 25 December 2023 to Saturday 6 January 2024, all collections will occur one day later than normal.

Note: Friday collections will occur on Saturdays.
