The City of Playford has donated a total of $12,000 to multiple charitable organisations across the community to support those in need at Christmas time.

Six groups received $2,000 each to put towards supporting families with food and emergency assistance during the festive season.

The six organisations included:

• The Mustard Seed Family Project
• Anglicare SA's The Mission
• Healthy Food Co
• The Smith Family
• St Vincent de Paul Society
• The Salvation Army Australia

Thank you to the staff and volunteers of these organisations who continue to spread the Christmas cheer in Playford.
