A new multi-media content studio is set to support young people through their creative endeavours at Northern Sound System (NSS) continues to support young people through their creative endeavours.

Not only will NSS support young people to create audio-visual content, it will stream their creations to industry professionals across the world on its online platform.

Bianca Nilsson of Renegade Records, an independent record label, is an emerging industry professional who has taken NSS up on its offer.

Bianca will be producing a digital radio segment on entrepreneurship, the music industry and internet hustling.

“I want young people to gain a new skill out of every episode I create,” Bianca said.

“Whether that is how to be an artist manager, tips for running your own record label, music publicity or streaming your music.

“It’s vibe-central, there is just so much positive energy in this studio.”

Studio manager, Ben Smith, said NSS is looking for young people who want to join the collective of creatives producing content on a topic they are passionate about.

“We want gamers live streaming Twitch, young musicians talking about their creative process and playing their songs and their mates songs, industry professional giving advice sessions or sharing their stories and budding journalists interviewing local, national or international talent,” Ben said.

“We want to support young people to create content, sharing something they love while gaining new skills and potential industry networks.”

“This will be a space where creative minds can come together, collaborate and make beautiful content.”
