Centre director Lisa Downs said the celebrations would embrace the centre’s history, while providing fun and entertainment for the children.
Activities will include a performance from Cool 4 Kids, as well as an invitation to ‘bring your bike, trike or scooter’ to use on the centre’s newly built riding track.
“It’s going to be great fun for all and everyone is invited,” Mrs Downs said.
Angle Vale was the first Stepping Stone site to open in South Australia and Mrs Downs said the community had embraced the centre right from its beginnings.
“I think Angle Vale is a very close community and we work really closely with them,” Mrs Downs said.
“Parents just tend to stop by for a chat because we are friendly and welcoming.”
The Stepping Stone childcare centre also has a close relationship with local schools, while the City of Playford’s mobile library visits the site every second Wednesday.
