These school holidays we have activities to suit kids of all ages. School holidays run from 14 to 30 April and your kids can enjoy an action-packed two weeks of sports, magic, tech-activities and much more.
If IT has your child wired, then the STEM- SEL workshop, where kids can learn how to program and code might be for them. The Playford Library children’s officer Alana Ojeda said the workshop's a fun and creative way for kids to learn the basics of coding. “Many schools are putting coding and programming on the curriculum due to the future demand of IT and this workshop is a fun way for kids to be introduced to it and learn the basics,” Alana said. Meanwhile, the magician Mickster the Trickster, who has recently finished up at the Adelaide Fringe, will be conjuring up plenty of fun during the holidays. Mickster will bring his show Einstein and the Magic Bookworm to the Shedley Theatre on Tuesday, 18 April. “I was inspired to become a magician at my first visit to the Adelaide Fringe back in 1996, and since then my philosophy has always been with magic to create a sense of wonder for the kids and parents at my show,” Mickster said. ^^ Join Mickster the Trickster on Tuesday 18 April at the Shedley Theatre. Bookings for the school holiday program open on 20 March on Eventbrite.
