Photo: Kate Hayward Australian artist, Cam Scale, known for his most recent work on the Kimba silos, will design the artwork with support from former Holden and supply chain workers.

The large-scale mural will add to Adelaide Fringe celebrations at Playford Palace in February next year and will feature through Street Art Explosion promotion. Scale will also have the opportunity to mentor an emerging South Australian artist, further strengthening the City’s participation and engagement in the Arts.

The commemorative piece will span across 40 metres of the shopping centre’s northern entrance on the corner of Oxenham Drive and Playford Boulevard within the Playford CBD.

This commemorative mural is a partnership project between the City of Playford, the Department of State Development, Arts SA, Elizabeth City Centre and GM Holden.
