It provides rural landholders and community groups with advice, technical support and funding.

The Program objectives are to achieve substantial improvement in natural resource conditions across its district by increasing the capacity of landholders to undertake best practice natural resources management (NRM). Landholders play an important role in NRM and it’s vital we all work together to protect the natural environment from degradation whilst balancing the needs of the community and ensuring a sustainable future.
Partnerships are an effective means in delivering positive outcomes for all stakeholders. Project & District Officers also work in collaboration with Councils and other public land managers as well as local organizations to deliver efficient Natural Resources Management.

The area is significant as it connects the urbanized northern Adelaide Plains with the Mount Lofty Ranges.
NFBALM is one of 3 Incentive Programs being delivered across Playford’s rural area.
District Officers can visit your property at no cost, assess any issues that might exist and help plan what might be done to address them.
Some activities are eligible for funding support and your District Officer will discuss this with you.
Provision of funding support is dependent on a range of criteria including location, type of activity, project size and the environmental benefit, and is assessed by a community-based Advisory Committee with local knowledge and expertise.
Contact your District Officer to arrange a visit today!
