Fremont Park Main Page
Fremont Park is one of the City's most beautiful recreation and leisure facilities. Centrally located near the Elizabeth City Centre, the picturesque park features a large lake with fountain and waterfalls. It's features include:
Barbecues
Electric barbecues are available for use at no charge. (bookings not available)
Picnic Shelters
Picnic shelters are conveniently located in the main picnic area. Each shelter is complete with bench seats and table.
Picnic Tables
Picnic tables are located close to the barbecue area and shelters.
Playgrounds
A large playground is located in the main area of the park and a smaller playground near the rotunda area of the park.
Liberty Swing
Use of the swing requires a key that is now available for free hire from either The Elizabeth Aquadome or the Playford Civic centre during opening hours.
Toilets
Public toilets are located adjacent the main picnic area.
The Park also offers a great 1km walking/cycling track and a Bit Active gym area where you can use fitness equipment.
Weddings and celebrations are often held in the Park. To avoid disappointment we recommend booking the rotunda. There are no hire fees but we do ask that you read the terms and conditions form carefully before returning your completed application form. To do this:
