Rates Payment Options
The City of Playford has a quarterly system of rating, allowing people to spread the cost of their rates across the full financial year.

- 4 June 2013
Any ratepayer who may, or is likely to, experience difficulty with meeting the standard arrangements is invited to contact the Rates Officer to discuss alternative payment arrangements. Such enquiries are treated confidentially by the Council. For more information click here
Late Payment of Rates
The Local Government Act 1999 provides that Councils must impose a penalty of 2% on any payment for rates, whether by instalment or otherwise, that is not paid on or before the due date. A payment that continues to be late is then charged a prescribed interest rate for each month it continues to be late.
