School Visits

Educating young people about what happens in their community, how they can get involved in their local community and knowing about their civic leaders, is important to Mayor Glenn Docherty and the City of Playford.

Classes and Students’ Representative Councils have been invited to attend Council Chambers to conduct a mock council meeting with prepared questions.  This is a great opportunity for students to understand how their local council works.

Mayor Docherty is also happy to visit your school and, with sufficient notice, can make time to attend school assemblies, events and awards ceremonies.
