The City of Playford provides over 200 sporting facilities for the Playford community.

We are very pleased that, in the year 2000, the Central District Football team brought home the cup for the first time after being in the league since 1964. Amazingly, the Centrals have gone on to win the SANFL Premiership flag eight more times with their latest victory in 2010.
