Transport Services

The City of Playford can assist eligible residents with transport through the Community Passengers Network (CPN) and Home Assist programs.

Funded by local, state and federal government agencies, these programs are designed to keep people independent and active.

If you are vulnerable due to aging or have a disablity you may be eligible to use these services.

 

What you need to know

  • Bookings are required at least 2 days in advance.
  • There is a small fee for services.
  • Provision of support is based on priority of need and availability of resources

 

Booking a trip

If you are registered for transport services through My Aged Care, please call 8256 0355 or email us at transport@playford.sa.gov.au

If you are not registered, seek a referral from My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.

 

More about the Home Assist Transport Service

Home Assist provides transport for eligible people within City of Playford.

What Home Assist can help people with:

  • Shopping/banking/medical appointments (between 9am – 4pm).
  • Home delivered frozen meals (order via 8256 0355).
  • Transport to and from City of Playford Social Inclusion programs and events.
  • Home Assist outings.

The Northern Metro Community Passengers Network provides transport to eligible residents in Playford, Tea Tree Gully and Salisbury.

What CPN can help you with:

  • Prearranged medical appointments within metropolitan Adelaide.
  •  Transportation to and from some special events booked in advance.
