Welcome to the City of Playford and Town of Gawler Emergency Management site.

This site has been created to provide practical information to the community and State Emergency Agencies in relation to Emergency Management for both Council areas. 

Working in partnership on emergency management, response, mitigation and recovery, the City of Playford, Town of Gawler, and State Emergency Agencies have developed a Community Emergency Risk Management plan that aims to create a safer community, reduce risk and minimise damage in the event of an emergency. 

Funding was gained through the 'Working Together to Manage Emergencies' program - Emergency Management Australia Commonwealth Attorney General's Department in 2007/08.
