Centacare Youth Services - Elizabeth & Barossa

Services/programs offered: Provide support and partly furnished accommodation to young people aged between 15-24 years of age who at risk of homelessness in the Elizabeth, Gawler and Barossa areas. Service provision includes: confidential assessment and referral, transitional housing whilst being supported by a case manager, outreach support from a worker whilst entering into or remaining in private rental or public housing, Elizabeth service provide 24 hour emergency accommodation and medium term accommodation facility for young people aged between 15-18 years.

HYPA provides a wide range of services to support disadvantaged young people. HYPA offers case management to FLO students, and support in accessing and maintaining safe and appropriate accommodation, reconnecting with family, school, employment and the community and to address offending behaviours. To do this we provide services that are aligned to the four primary priorities in a young person’s life: Home, Wellbeing, Learning and Working.

Services/programs offered:Job Placement, Employment & Training (JPET) helps young people aged 15-21, by giving them access to education and training, which can then lead to positive outcomes such as long term housing, education, and social reintegration.  JPET helps young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, has been an offender, a current or ex-ward of the state, or a refugee. JPET also helps young people who are having drug and alcohol problems, behavioural problems, lack of life skills, unplanned pregnancy, trouble with the police or school, or those who lack support structures such as family.

SHine SA also offers a therapeutic counselling service provided by professional sexual health counsellors. The service is available to individuals, couples and families. The Smith Family - Learning for Life
