Refreshment volunteer – Do you have Saturday mornings free and would like to join the team? We need someone who enjoys making cuppas and serving customers with a smile. Let us know if that is you!

Kitchen volunteer needed to work:

  • various shifts and days
  • preparing food which includes sandwiches, hot food and for events and functions 

Event volunteer - assist with Themed night events duties:

  • Setting up tables, decorations and packing them up
  • Helping with refreshments and serving of meals
  • Greeting people at the door and helping with seating
  • And being part of a fun atmosphere (dressing up with the right attire etc.)

The Friend’s groups are recreation and skill programs for adults with a disability, encouraging independence and self- growth through group interaction. Volunteers have an important role in working with the participants and supporting the broad range of activities they are involved with.

Information Trailer – enhance your customer service skills by sharing information with the local community.  The trailer visits different locations each week with up to date information.

Northern Metro Community Passenger Network

The Community Passenger Network is looking for volunteers to be involved in a new program GET ON BOARD a “Public Transport Travel Companion Service”  that provides a volunteer travel companion to accompany someone on a journey or several journeys and explain to them how public transport works.

Playford Greening Volunteers

Nursery Volunteer - Propagation of local native plants for use in biodiversity focused revegetation projects. Activities include seed sowing, seedling transplanting, weeding, cleaning tubes and other general nursery activities as required. Activities are held on Saturday mornings in accordance with a quarterly calendar

Revegetation Volunteer - Assist the Biodiversity and Revegetation Council Officers with revegetation activities that contribute to the biodiversity of the City of Playford. Activities include planting, weeding, watering and general maintenance work in revegetation sites as needed. Activities are held on Saturday mornings in accordance with a quarterly calendar
