An Asset Management Plan provides a 20 year calendar of expenditure required to maintain an agreed level of service delivery from Council's assets.
Council has many millions of dollars worth of community assets including roads, kerbs, drainage, footpaths, playgrounds, irrigation systems, clubrooms, libraries, community halls, recreational facilities, fleet, information technology and the list goes on. Our Asset Management Plans outline what work needs to be done to maintain assets and when it needs to happen. Council's spend on maintenance and renewal of our assets has been increasing steadily, spending between $20 - 25 million each year to maintain good services for the community.
Currently, Council has AMPs covering roads, kerbing, footpaths, footbridges, stormwater drains, irrigation systems, playgrounds, park furniture, structures and equipment, Council and community buildings, public amenities, recreational facilities, fleet and information technology.
The AMPs as approved by Council on 28/6/11 plus a summary of the AMPs are available for download:
