Council hosts Citizenship Ceremonies four times throughout the year, with the first taking place on Australia Day, 26 January 2012. Further dates will be released shortly.
It is an honour to share this special and heart warming occasion with new members of our community.
At our largest Citizenship Ceremony which takes place on Australia Day, 26th January, many people for all walks of life are naturalised and presented with their Citizenship Certificates by Mayor Glenn Docherty.
At the ceremony we welcome people from around the globe to the City of Playford.
Citizenship ceremonies, except for Australia Day, are held on Wednesday evenings in the Great Hall at the Playford Civic Centre.
