Presented annually at the Australia Day Event in Fremont Park, the City of Playford Australia Day Awards acknowledge the valued work of the unsung heroes in our community who give generously of their time and expertise to help others.
The Citizen of the Year program is conducted by the Australia Day Council of SA in partnership with every council across South Australia resulting in approximately 1500 nominations annually.
The Australia Day Awards will be awarded in the following categories:
